Job Summary
A well-established manufacturing company is looking for a Junior Draughtsman to join its team in Wellington. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career in technical design and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and update technical drawings using CAD software.
Produce detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings.
Assist with the design and development of custom products.
Liaise with production to ensure drawings are accurate and practical.
Revise drawings based on design or production requirements.
Maintain drawing records and documentation.
Minimum Requirements
Relevant Draughting qualification or CAD certification.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (SolidWorks experience will be advantageous).
Good understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Valid drivers licence will be advantageous.
