Purpose of the Role

BGIS is seeking an experiencedDelivery Managerto join our Christchurch team in a vitalTrade Services Leadershiprole. You will lead a new growing in-house team of trades professionals delivering high-quality maintenance services to internal clients across a broad range of trade disciplines. These includeElectrical Technicians Carpenters Plumbers Painters Roofers and more.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for theend-to-end coordination of works from scoping quoting and scheduling to quality assurance and compliance. Youll also drive workforce planning manage team performance support recruitment and training and identify areas for improvement.

Reporting to the you will oversee4 direct reports (Site Foremen)and up to10 indirect reports working closely with the Maintenance Manager National Self-Perform Operational Support Manager and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth & high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multi-trade internal team delivering maintenance services
• Scope price and schedule works to meet client needs and project timelines
• Ensure safety compliance and quality standards are upheld across all jobs
• Drive team development performance management and succession planning
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver operational outcomes
• Forecast and align internal resources to meet current and future demands

Skills and Experience

• Trade-qualifiedorhands-on backgroundinmaintenanceorconstruction
• Demonstratedleadershipexperience managing field-based teams
• Assertiveleaderwith the ability tocommand respectenforce decisions andcommunicate effectivelyacross all levels of the workforce
• Strongorganisationalcommunication andstakeholderengagementskills
• Technicallyproficient with the ability to work withdigital systemsandtools
• Experience working within government or commercial contracts (desirable)
