HSEQ & Systems Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and forward-thinking Health Safety Environment  Systems Coordinator to help strengthen and improve the systems that support our HSEQ performance across the business.

Reporting to the Chief Health Safety & Risk Officer this role will maintain and continuously improve our Integrated Management System (IMS) ensuring alignment with ISO standards ACC requirements legislation and business needs.

You will play a key role in using data analytics automation and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting identify trends strengthen assurance and support better risk-based decision-making.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Maintain and improve the Integrated Management System (IMS) in line with ISO 45001 ISO 14001 ISO 9001 ISO 31000 and ACC requirements.
• Manage controlled documents training packages compliance registers risk registers and HSEQ records.
• Support internal and external audits assurance activities and corrective action management.
• Analyse HSEQ data identify trends and risks and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Develop dashboards KPIs and monthly HSEQ performance reports for leadership teams.
• Support digital HSEQ systems data quality improvements and reporting optimisation.
• Use AI automation and analytics tools to improve system efficiency and reporting capability.
• Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities across HSEQ processes.
• Promote practical consistent and user-friendly systems that support our people.

Qualifications :

About you

You will be a systems-focused HSEQ professional who enjoys improving processes analysing data and creating practical solutions.

You will bring:

• Relevant qualification or experience in HSEQ environmental management quality business systems or data analytics.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 ISO 14001 ISO 9001 ISO 31000 and ACC Accredited Employer Programme requirements.
• Experience managing HSEQ systems compliance processes or quality management systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Experience preparing reports and insights for senior stakeholders.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel and reporting tools.
• Experience with digital HSEQ systems (Damstra/Ideagen or Eco Portal experience desirable).
• Understanding of AI automation and analytics tools to improve business processes and training.
• Strong communication stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
