As a Foreperson youll play a key role leading and supporting crews delivering maintenance and renewal works across our network. This is a hands-on leadership position where youll be responsible for planning coordinating and overseeing daily activities to ensure work is completed safely efficiently and to a high standard.
In this role you will:
Lead and mentor crews while promoting a strong safety-first culture
Plan coordinate and oversee daily maintenance and construction activities
Manage plant materials and resources to maximise productivity and efficiency
Liaise with clients subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Monitor quality progress and performance to ensure contract requirements are met

Nga Pūkenga Matu Important Skills
Were looking for an experienced leader with a background in civil construction surfacing maintenance or infrastructure projects. Youll be confident leading teams making decisions in the field and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Youll also bring:
Proven experience leading crews and coordinating day-to-day site operations
Strong planning organisational and problem-solving skills
Experience working with subcontractors plant and resource allocation
A commitment to health safety quality and environmental best practice
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
Class 2 Licence and WTR endorsement preferred (Class 4 highly regarded)
Asphalt surfacing road maintenance or civil construction experience advantageous
