Field Service Engineer (PC and PC Peripherals Support)

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer (PC and PC Peripherals Support) to join the team.

Christchurch based.

Key Responsibilities

• Responding to client support requests and provides on-site field support to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Installing and maintaining hardware and compute peripherals
• Installing and upgrading operating system and software
• Provide installation servicing and repairing systems and equipment. Verifies and approves operational quality of system equipment
• Attend & resolve/fulfill incidents/requests based on defined SLA
• Maintain and update asset accuracy
• Provide input or suggestion on maintaining knowledge article
• Support Walk-In Service Center where applicable
• Participate in project roll out/ discussion where applicable
• Performs analysis and prepares reports on system problem trends and issues
• 50% of Assigned Task to support client internal business functions

Key Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience in PC hardware OS MS Office and Peripherals troubleshooting
• Experience working with customer technology and support requirements
• Good communication skills and good team player
• Motivate to learn and good Time Management
• Willing to contribute on Continuous Service Improvement
• Flexible on ad-hoc assignment
