Facilities and Services Technician (Fixed Term to December 2026)

Our Facilities Team make sure our workplace environment is set up to help our crew achieve what they need to achieve thorough managing premises security cleaning non-IT equipment furniture maintenance health and safety and more.

Were looking for an additional Facilities and Services Technician to join us on a fixed-term through to mid-December assisting the team to maintain Weta Workshop facilities to a very high standard.

Heres what will you be doing day to day:

• Servicing and maintenance including troubleshooting and minor repairs
• Helping relocate furniture and items in storage
• Helping facilitate external providers and contractors
• Decorating of rooms
• Supplies management
• Managing your time and jobs through our ticketing system

Its a busy role and were looking for someone who is naturally proactive.

Youll need to be a confident communicator in person and via email and be comfortable using our ticketing system (training provided of course).

Youll be physically fit resilient (things change a lot around here) have a wide range of practical skills and be keen to get stuck in. Were happy to tailor some of the tasks to your skillset so tell us if you have experience in metal fabrication engineering carpentry etc.

A drivers license is a must and it will be a bonus if youre certified to drive a forklift (but not essential). If youve been trained in Working at Heights and have experience with scissor lifts thats another nice-to-have.

Its a Monday to Friday role but we are looking for flexibility for occasional weekend work (with time in lieu in return)
