Job Summary
The Executive Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting with the coordination and oversight of the hotels daily operations across all key departments to ensure effective service delivery operational efficiency and compliance with business and brand requirements
This position involves senior operational responsibility across the Rooms Division and Food & Beverage functions including Front Office Housekeeping Reservations Guest Services and Engineering.
Key responsibility
- Drive performance and assist in the overall management and coordination of the hotels operations across multiple departments
- Support the delivery of consistent guest services and accommodation standards
- Monitor operational performance and assist in achieving budgeted financial targets
- Contribute towards revenue management strategies and activities including revenue generation occupancy and room allocation oversight
- Work alongside Food & Beverage operations with service standards cost control and stock management
- Oversee Front Office and Reservations processes to ensure accurate billing and guest service delivery
- Partner with our People and Culture team to ensure retention and recruitment training performance management and staff development
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety fire safety and operational policies
- Assist in maintaining property presentation standards and coordinating maintenance requirements
- Support operational reporting audits and compliance documentation
Qualifications :
- 5 years experience hotel operations or multi-department management roles
- Strong and proven Leadership and People Management skills to lead motivate and develop teams across multiple departments while maintaining strong staff engagement and accountability.
- Operational experience in both rooms division and food and beverage is essential
- The ability to work and problem solve in a fast-paced high occupancy hotel across multiple departments.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to confidently use PMS systems and other software platforms including Microsoft Excel Word and related applications.
- Understanding of hotel forecasting budgeting operational costs and revenue processes.
- Ability to manage guest service delivery and resolve operational issues
- The passion for the people of the Industry leading developing and creating opportunities for others.
- This role requires a high degree of flexibility. The successful candidate will be expected to work outside of standard business hours including alternative weekends and public holidays as needed. Hours may vary on business requirements and the ability to adapt to changing schedules is essential.
