Customer Service Rep I (12 months contract)

Sensient Technologies New Zealand is a fast growing business unit within the Sensient Flavours & Colours Asia-Pacific provide quality food ingredients to our customers on a world-wide basis and are highly successful through our attention to customer service creative technological innovation and product quality. We are seeking a self-motivated person with a passion to process customer transactions such as orders debits credits or returns accurately and efficiently.

This opportunity is 100% office-based at our Mt Wellington office.

What you will do:

• Provide accurate information back to the customer in a timely fashion
• Resolve routine customer issues and customer requests communicate with Account Managers and Customer Service Manager regarding any special situations
• Providing support to the rest of the Customer Service team as required
• May assist pricing coordinator Customer Service Manager/supervisor and executive office in data entry of pertinent information
• General reception duties such as answering the phone and dealing with visitors on first entry
• Constantly seek improved ways to service internal and external customers.

• Strong communication English skills including ability to capture the detail of a situation and communicate accurately professionally and completely verbally and in writing.

• Ability to multitask while maintaining high degrees of attention to detail accuracy and poise under pressure.

• Effective personal time management and organization skills imperative.
