The role
The Control Systems / SCADA Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the systems and technologies used to monitor and operate Vectors electricity network.
Over the course of a full-time ten-week placement youll build a strong foundation in SCADA ADMS and network operations progressing from observation and shadowing to applied project work. Youll gain exposure to real-time network operations data interpretation and control systems engineering while supporting documentation testing and work within live system environments.
Who are we looking for
Youll be in your third or final year of an Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree with an interest in power systems control systems and network operations
Youre curious quick to learn and bring a positive proactive attitude with a willingness to take on feedback and build new skills
You have developing analytical and problem-solving skills and enjoy understanding how complex systems work
Youre organised manage your time effectively and can adapt to a fast-paced changing environment
You communicate well listen and learn from others and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
