The role

The Control Systems / SCADA Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the systems and technologies used to monitor and operate Vectors electricity network.

Over the course of a full-time ten-week placement youll build a strong foundation in SCADA ADMS and network operations progressing from observation and shadowing to applied project work. Youll gain exposure to real-time network operations data interpretation and control systems engineering while supporting documentation testing and work within live system environments.

Who are we looking for

• Youll be in your third or final year of an Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree with an interest in power systems control systems and network operations
• Youre curious quick to learn and bring a positive proactive attitude with a willingness to take on feedback and build new skills
• You have developing analytical and problem-solving skills and enjoy understanding how complex systems work
• Youre organised manage your time effectively and can adapt to a fast-paced changing environment
• You communicate well listen and learn from others and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
