What Will You Do Ka aha koe
Key responsibilities will include:

  • Support the safe compliant and effective management of Council facilities and reserves
  • Coordinate contractor activity and monitor performance
  • Assist with property improvement projects and asset management planning
  • Audit update and maintain leases licences to occupy and encroachment agreements
  • Manage enquiries from lessees and support maintenance coordination
  • Help maintain accurate property registers documentation and systems
  • Support reserve management parks playgrounds and senior housing welfare
  • Contribute to Annual Plan and Long-Term Plan processes


Who Are You Ko wai koe
We are looking for someone with:

Essential:

  • 35 years experience in office administration or project coordination
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Excellent written verbal and listening communication
  • A customerfocused approach and strong problemsolving ability
  • High emotional intelligence professionalism and resilience
  • Ability to work well in a fastpaced team environment
  • Full NZ driver licence and the right to live and work in New Zealand

Desirable:

  • Experience in property or facility management
  • Knowledge of local government processes and legislation
  • Experience working with tenants
