The Role Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

The role will be working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm based at our Rotorua site.

Youll work closely alongside tangata whai ora carrying out comprehensive clinical and holistic assessments of their needs and guiding them to access appropriate health social and community services. As part of our Needs Assessment Coordination Support team you will collaborate with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure people with complex mental health needs are connected with the right supports to thrive.

You will bring cultural awareness a strong commitment to social justice and a creative approach to problem-solving that helps open new opportunities for the people we support. You will also develop and maintain strong relationships with community groups and social service organisations across the region.

You Mōu

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in mental health & addictions and who demonstrate strong cross-team collaboration skills.

Youll also have:

• Current registration and annual practising certificate as a Registered Health Professional (e.g. Registered Nurse Social Worker Occupational Therapist or Alcohol and Drug Practitioner)
• Knowledge of the health and social services sectors particularly the NGO and community sectors
• Ability to work effectively and proactively across multiple teams both internally and externally
• Understanding and application of the principles of wellness and recovery
• Knowledge of and demonstrate utmost commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi articles and working with Māori
• Full New Zealand drivers licence
