An opportunity has opened to join the Mainfreight family as a Class 4 Company Driver servicing our Timaru Transport Branch. The role will require someone with a good level of fitness and a can-do attitude with the opportunity to progress amongst the Mainfreight group.

Day to day responsibilities:

• Hubbing freight via our first-class facilities with our expert operations teams
• Safe loading securing and unloading of freight
• Managing the pick-up and delivery of freight on time and damage free
• Ensuring your truck is maintained in immaculate condition
• Delight our customers every day
  
  

Requirements:

• Current Class 1 2 and/or 4 license
• Transport service Licence (TSL)
• Forklift and Dangerous Goods Licences
• Minimum two year truck experience preferred
• Excellent communication and immaculate personal presentation
  
  

Hours are 7:00am - Finish Monday to Friday with seasonal weekend availability.

To be considered for this position you will need to:

• Be a New Zealand Citizen or Resident
• Pass a Pre-employment Background Check and Drug and Alcohol Test
