Class 2 Delivery Driver

Our client is a well-established family-owned food distribution company seeking a reliable and motivated Class 2 Delivery Driver to join their friendly and supportive team.

You will be responsible for delivering fresh and packaged food products to a range of customers including cafés restaurants and retirement villages across Christchurch. This is a customer-facing position so a professional presentation and friendly attitude are essential.

Hours of work: Monday - Friday (Saturdays when required) - Immediate start

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering catering products to customers in a timely and professional manner
• Loading and unloading deliveries including heavy lifting
• Picking and packing orders accurately
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and safely
• Maintaining a clean and organised vehicle and work area
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points

What Were Looking For:

• Full Class 2 Drivers Licence
• Previous delivery driving experience
• Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive heavy lifting
• Strong attention to detail for order picking and packing
• Good communication and time management skills
• Reliable punctual and able to work independently
