Job Summary
Experienced Concrete Placers / Concrete Finishing Construction Technicians.
The ideal candidates will have strong hands-on experience in:
- Concrete screeding and raking
- Setting heights using laser levels
- Establishing RLs and FFLs
- Concrete finishing and hand trowelling
- Operating Kelly floats (bull floats)
- Operating walk-behind power trowels
- Formwork setup and quality control checks
- knows how to use laser level setup and use
- Accurate height setting and screeding
- Concrete placement and finishing techniques
- Bull float and power trowel operation
- Understanding of concrete finishing timing and processes
- Formwork setup and checking procedures
Requirements
- Good English communication skills (able to pass INZ English requirements i.e. IELTS 4.0 or PTE 29)
- Preference for candidates aged 40 years or younger
- Minimum 3 years of relevant concrete placing and finishing experience
- Ability to work independently and achieve high-quality finishing standards
- Experience working to tight tolerances (3mm)
