Caregiver Part time

As a Caregiver at our Prebbleton Village you will work as part of a team that creates the safest healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our residents daily lives.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities such as puzzles table tennis etc

Youll need to be available for three weeks of paid onsite training from 18 January to 5 February 2027 running Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm ahead of the Care Centres official opening.

We have part time opportunities available working on either a 2 on 4 off or 3 on 3 off rotating shift pattern. Additionally we have a fixed Saturday and Sunday shift available. We have opportunities across either morning (7:00am 3:00pm) afternoon (3:00pm 11:00pm) or night shifts (11:00pm 7:00am).

Qualifications :

You will naturally be empathetic kind and patient and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to peoples lives.

Youll bring with you:

• Experience in aged care or a similar role
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Commitment to a rotational roster across morning afternoon and night shifts
• Ability to work a roster pattern of 4 days on and 2 days off
