Asphalt Operators

Our client is a respected and rapidly growing civil construction business delivering asphalt drainage and infrastructure projects throughout the lower North Island. With significant investment in their asphalt division and a strong pipeline of upcoming work they are looking to add experienced operators to their team.

Positions Available

Paver Driver

• Operate asphalt paving machinery safely and efficiently
• Work closely with paving crews to achieve quality outcomes
• WTR endorsement and Class 2 licence essential

Paver Screed Operator

• Manage screed settings levels mat depth and finish quality
• Play a key role in achieving paving specifications and quality standards
• Experienced operators preferred
• WTR endorsement beneficial

What Were Looking For

• Previous asphalt paving experience
• Reliable adaptable and team-focused attitude
• Willingness to support wider civil operations when required
• Understanding of seasonal workloads and flexibility during peak periods
• Strong commitment to health and safety

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday
• Typical days 6:00am 7:00am start & finish between 5:00pm 6:00pm
• Minimum of two Saturdays per month expected
• Additional hours during busy summer and paving seasons
