Workplace Data Strategist | EMEA

Job Summary
We are seeking a Space Strategist / to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in an international fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with global clients to translate business needs into innovative workplace solutions.
This opportunity sits as part of our growing EMEA occupier services team and is based within our office in Amsterdam with the EMEA workplace advisory team. Working closely with stakeholders across multiple countries you will develop workplace strategies and strategic occupancy and space planning solutions that align with business objectives workplace standards and evolving client requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Delivery of strategic occupancy and space planning projects across EMEA for one of our global clients with an office portfolio of c. 200000 sqm;
Planning Support & Scenario Development
- Assist in developing space and workplace scenarios based on business needs growth assumptions and utilization insights
- Prepare planning options test fits (working with designers/partners as needed) stacking and adjacency plans and capacity models
- Help evaluate feasibility for consolidations expansions and flexible seating strategies
Occupancy & Utilization Analysis
- Analyze occupancy and utilization data to support right-sizing and planning efforts
- Use dashboards space data and IWMS tools to model future capacity needs
- Track and organize planning inputs assumptions and changes
Client Engagement & Stakeholder Alignment
- Support planning sessions and workshops with meeting materials notes and follow-ups
- Assist with stakeholder communications and presentations to summarize analysis and planning recommendations
- Partner with workplace facilities and project management teams to gather inputs and understand business priorities
- Communicate complex planning concepts and analysis in clear executive-friendly formats
Workplace Strategy Integration
- Apply workplace standards planning guidelines and design principles when preparing planning materials
- Assist in planning for flexible workplace programs and future workplace pilot areas
- Help escort planning decisions through change management processes
- Provide inputs to programming project implementation partners and change enablement activities
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work cross-functionally with the Workplace Strategy team client real estate teams PMO and Technology partners
- Contribute to the development of planning methodologies tools templates and best practices on client accounts
- Support planning governance and standards to ensure accuracy consistency and adoption across the portfolio
- Participate in planning reviews and lessons-learned discussions to support continuous improvement

Planning Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare reports visuals and dashboards summarizing planning outcomes and scenarios
- Maintain planning files demand logs and scenario models to ensure accuracy and traceability
- Contribute to playbooks templates and planning tools that improve consistency and speed to insight
- Remain informed of planning assumptions space standards capacity metrics and demand forecasts
- Partner with IWMS and reporting teams to ensure data supports strategic planning and decision-making
Qualifications :
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar workplace strategy and space Planning role. International experience is a big plus.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret occupancy and workplace data identify trends and translate insights into strategic space planning recommendations.
- Experience with AutoCAD and CAFM systems.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and the wider Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build effective relationships and communicate confidently with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.

Interview Process
Our recruitment process consists of three stages:
- First Interview An introductory interview with the Head of EMEA Workplace Advisory and a key stakeholder. This conversation will focus on your experience technical expertise and overall fit for the role and team.
- Second Interview A competency-based interview with two members of the global Workplace Advisory team. This stage provides an opportunity to explore your approach to collaboration problem-solving and working in an international environment.
- Final Interview A case study presentation where you will be asked to analyse a workplace planning scenario and present your recommendations. This stage allows you to demonstrate your analytical thinking strategic approach and presentation skills.
