Position: Wiring Technician

Location: Hengelo The Netherlands

Employment Type: Full-time Long-term

Are you technically minded do you enjoy working with your hands and would you like to build complete electrical systems from technical drawings We are looking for Wiring Technicians to join our client in Hengelo The Netherlands.

As a Wiring Technician you will work on electrical installations and switch gear systems. You will ensure that all components are connected correctly and that the installation functions safely and properly. The work is varied and every project brings new challenges.

What Will You Do

Your main responsibilities will involve wiring connecting and finishing electrical components. Using technical drawings and electrical schematics you will determine where wiring and connections need to be installed.

Your tasks incl:

• Reading and following electrical diagrams and technical drawings
  
• Pulling cutting and preparing wires to the correct length
  
• Connecting wires cables and electrical components
  
• Assembling and wiring components in switchboards and electrical installations
  
• Installing cable lugs ferrules and connectors
  
• Checking that all connections are completed correctly and neatly
  
• Identifying and correcting wiring errors when necessary
  
• Ensuring a clean safe and professional finish
  

For this position it is important that you have technical insight and can work accurately. Experience in electrical engineering panel building or wiring is an advantage.

• Works accurately and with attention to detail
  
• Is comfortable using hand tools
  
• Can work independently as well as in a team
  
• Experience as an Electrician Panel Builder Assembly Technician or Wiring Technician is highly appreciated and will fit well with this role
  

• Weekly salary: 600 - 650 per week
