This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1 standardizing processes to have a cost-effective fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility.
Additionally the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Value Stream Leads to drive the implementation of the SAP S/4HANA global process template within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role is responsible for deploying the standardized value stream solution globally ensuring strict adherence to SAP Clean Core principles while designing only legally required localizations. The candidate will bring deep value stream process expertise a strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the life sciences sector and a collaborative leadership approach to successfully guide cross-functional teams through the ERP transformation journey.
The position will directly lead a multi functional team of process experts. Additionally they will have leadership over contractors and support personal such as CEBA and PMO team members.
The VSL will be a key face to the site personal for the specific deployment and will need to be able to shape and influence in the face of resistance to change.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Global Template Deployment
Implement the pre-defined global Value Stream process template across regions and business units ensuring compliance with industry regulations and SAP standards.
Lead the deployment of the Value Stream template within S/4HANA avoiding customizations unless strictly required by legal or regulatory requirements.
Ensure that all design decisions conform to SAP Clean Core principlesfavoring configuration over custom development and using standard extensibility frameworks where needed.
Leadership & Collaboration
Lead cross-functional teams including business SMEs IT SAP consultants validation experts and system integrators in the execution of Value Stream-related project deliverables.
Collaborate with other value stream leads (e.g. Procure to Pay Finance Manufacturing) to ensure fully integrated end-to-end process design.
Act as a key connection between business units program leadership and technical teams ensuring alignment on scope timeline and business readiness.
Solution Delivery & Validation
Oversee detailed solution design configuration reviews data migration validation testing strategy (including GxP and CSV compliance) and business process walkthroughs.
Manage Value Stream-related testing activities including Functional Testing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation activities in alignment with SDLC
Support the creation and approval of Value Stream-related validation deliverables in accordance with QA and regulatory requirements
Change Management & Training
Collaborate with the Change Management team to drive user readiness and adoption of the global Value Stream template.
Support creation and delivery of training materials and process documentation tailored to the needs of regulated users and business partners.
Qualifications
Required
University level degree or equivalent experience in quality business/IT technical/scientific area or comparable education/experience.
At least 8 years of professional experience.
Deep knowledge of Value Stream processes in a GxP-compliant environment including commercial distribution serialization credit management and revenue recognition.
Strong team leadership or management skills.
Solid understanding of SAP Clean Core principles extensibility strategies (e.g. In-App Side-by-Side) and the implications for long-term system sustainability.
Strong leadership facilitation and customer engagement skills including experience working with business leaders regulatory bodies and global teams.
Familiarity with CSV SDLC GXP.
Proficiency with SAP tools including S/4HANA modules relevant to the Value Stream (i.e. Sales and Distribution Credit Management Billing) Fiori or Solution Manager.
Preferred
Experience in the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry.
Other
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time both domestically and internationally.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is 82900 to 143117.50
