TEAM AND ROLE:

The Trade Operations team sits at the core of executing environmental commodity transactionsin a fast-paced and highly regulated trading environment. As part of the Tickets team we collaborate closely with Trading Legal FinancePolicyand Technology teams to ensure that every transaction flows seamlessly through the trade lifecycle from contract execution and settlement through to payment and post-trade operations.

As a Trade Operations Specialist you will play a key role in supporting the operational backbone of our EV and THG business. You willbe responsible formaintainingaccurateand compliant trade operations managing contracts and inventory processes coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and driving continuous process improvements. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine operational excellence regulatorytopicsand systems development within a dynamic international trading environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensureaccurateandtimelyexecution of environmentalcommoditiescontracts and settlements.
• Manage EV-and THG contract administration activitiesmaintaininghigh standardsof accuracycomplianceand documentation.
• Maintain and reconcile environmental certificate inventories across internal systems and external platforms ensuring data integrity and operationalreadiness.
• Collaboratewith stakeholders across various business functions such as Trading Legal Finance Policy Risk and Compliance to ensure successful resolution of operational matters and tomaintainaccuracy
• Monitor regulatory developments and work with external authoritiesregistriesand counterparties to ensure compliance with evolving market requirements.
• Identifyand implement process improvements and automation opportunities helping to enhance operational efficiency and support future system developments.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors or mastersDegree (or equivalent) in Financial Engineering Econometrics StatisticsBusiness AdministrationFinance EconomicsLawQuantitative studies orsimilar
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience inanoperationalrole within a trading environmentorfinancialmarkets/energy sector.
• Strong attention to detail analyticalthinkingand the ability to manage complex processes where accuracy and compliance are critical.
• Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Excel. Experiencewith Python SQL VBA PowerQueryand/or Power BI is considered a strong advantage.
• Proactiveadaptableand ownership-driven with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent in both German and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
