Are you analyticalcuriousand eager to build a career incommodity trading Join our Cotton Trading team in Rotterdam and gain hands-on experience at the heart of a global trading business.

AsanTrader AssistantCotton you will support the traders with daily commercial and analytical activities helping the team make informed decisions and ensuring key trading processes run smoothly. You will work closely with Trading TradeExecutionand other teams across our international network gaining unique exposure to the global cotton market.

This is an entry-level position and an excellentstepping stonefor someone looking to grow into a commercial trading role over time. We are looking for someone with the right attitude hunger tolearnand willingness to take ownership.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Supporting traders with pricingreportingand market-related analysis.

• Monitoring positions andmaintainingtrading data in internal systems.

• Preparing andmaintainingcontracts and related documentation.

• Developing and improving reports tools and processes using Excel and basic Python.

• Working closely with the Trade Execution team to support the smooth execution of contracts.

• Identifyingissues solvingproblemsand improving ways of working.

• Coordinating with colleagues across Trading ExecutionFinanceand other international offices.

• Supporting ad-hoc commercial and operational activities across the desk.

Required skills and experience

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have a Bachelors orMasters degree in Mathematics Statistics Econometrics Data Analytics IT EconomicsSupply Chain Management Logistic or a related field.

• Havestrong numerical and analytical skills.

• Basic knowledge of PythonVBAor other programming languages with the ability to understand andmaintainscripts used for process and task automation.

• Enjoy solving problems and working with data.

• Areproactivecuriousand eager to learn.

• Havestrong communicationskills and enjoy working in a team environment.

• Have a good command of English both written and spoken.

• Have relevant experience in trading commoditieslogisticsor commercial support (ispreferred but notrequired).
