Job Summary
As aLighting Technical Engineer you will be responsible for testing and certifying a wide range of lighting products in accordance with international safety standards. One day you may be assessing a product from a global market leader while the next you are supporting an innovative startup in bringing a new solution to market. This variety is what makes the role so exciting.
You will work with standards such asIEC 60598andIEC 61347 analyze test results and support certification addition you will collaborate with specialists inEMCphotometry andproduct certification. As you are exposed daily to new products technologies and developments within the lighting industry you will have plenty of opportunities to deepen your knowledge and further develop yourself into an expert in your field.
Bachelors degree or equivalent level of thinking and working preferably inElectrical Engineeringor a related technical field;
Interest in product safety testing and certification of electrical products;
Knowledge ofIEC 60598 IEC 61347 and/or IEC 62031is an advantage;
Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach to work;
Enjoy solving technical challenges and finding practical solutions;
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers;
Excellent command of theEnglishlanguage.
