Our teams engineer and deliver advanced software centric systems for navy vessels integrating sensors weapons and smart data to support everything from pirate defense to missile interception.

For our German Navy customer Thales is engineering and delivering the full solution for the combat systems fire control systems and integrated sensor suites for a series of new frigates called F126. F126 is one of the largest and most challenging programs Thales has with more than 400 engineers working on the program across multiple countries.

For its F126 program in the Engineering department Thales (Hengelo) is looking for a talented Manager System Engineering with a passion for system development and the ambition to advance his or her career within a high-tech environment in a management role.

For our F126 program were looking for an inspiring Team Manager System Engineering someone with vision a passion for system engineering and a drive to combine technology and people for lasting impact.

What will you do
As Team Manager System Engineering youll lead a dynamic team of 25-35 system engineers and specialists performing functional and technical analysis and design on both solution level and product/system level for the real-time safety critical combat management system and associated systems we deliver in F126.

Your team is a key link in the F126 program. Youll enable everyone to perform at their best: coaching inspiring facilitating and building the team. Together youll not only drive the development of the entire project but also competencies domain knowledge and optimal working methods. You spot opportunities for improvement initiate change and make a difference for people and the project. Your team is pivotal to match customer expectations drive the software development and secure the acceptance of the systems.
