Job Summary
The Tax Specialist will oversee tax compliance and reporting activities for all group entities across multiple jurisdictions. The role requires strong technical expertise in transfer pricing VAT/GST compliance corporate income tax and U.S. state taxation combined with the ability to work closely with finance accounting and external advisors. The successful candidate will help ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations while supporting tax planning initiatives and mitigating tax risks in a dynamic cross-border trading environment.
The Tax Specialist is responsible for tax compliance reporting and tax risk management across multiple jurisdictions. The role partners with Finance Accounting and external advisors to ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations while supporting tax planning and process improvement initiatives.
- Manage direct and indirect tax compliance including VAT/GST corporate income tax and U.S. state tax filings.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
- Support transfer pricing compliance and intercompany transaction reporting.
- Partner with Finance and Accounting on tax accounting provisions and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with external advisors auditors and tax authorities on compliance matters and audits.
- Monitor tax law changes and assess their business impact.
- Support tax planning initiatives and tax risk management.
- Maintain tax controls policies and compliance procedures.
- Analyze tax implications of cross-border and business transactions.
- Prepare tax reports and supporting documentation for stakeholders.
In order to be considered for the role you will meet the following:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Tax Accounting Finance Economics or related field.
- 25 years of tax experience in a multinational company or public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of international tax transfer pricing and OECD guidelines.
- Experience with VAT/GST compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with corporate income tax compliance and tax accounting.
- Experience working with multiple legal entities and cross-border tax matters.
- Strong analytical skills attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional tax qualification preferred.
