Sr Associate Warehouse (GMP Support)

At Amgen Breda medicines are labeled assembled stored and eventually shipped to various countries worldwide. Every day more than 1000 people from 38 different nationalities are working on supply chain processes manufacturing marketing and sales of our medicines and clinical research into new medicines.

What you will do

As Sr Associate Warehouse you will play a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations while ensuring inventory accuracy and operational continuity. You will act as a key point of contact for operational support coordinate warehouse control activities and drive continuous improvements across Warehouse Operations.

In this vital role you will:

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Site Warehouse Operations by providing first- and second-line operational support and resolving day-to-day system and process challenges;
  • Take a hands-on approach within Site Warehouse Operations by actively supporting core business activities and primary shop floor processes when needed;
  • Monitor and optimize warehouse storage capacity and inventory accuracy;
  • Maintain warehouse master data and support ERP/WMS-related processes;
  • Coordinate replenishment flows with external warehouses;
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within Warehouse Operations;
  • Support deviations CAPAs change controls SOP updates and audit activities;
  • Represent Warehouse Operations in cross-functional projects and operational coordination activities;
  • Work fully on-site (5 days per week) to ensure seamless execution of daily warehouse operations and enable close cross-functional collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (HBO) in Logistics Supply Chain or related field or equivalent through relevant experience;
  • 5 years of experience within logistics warehousing or supply chain operations;
  • Experience with inventory management and location control processes;
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced MS Excel capabilities;
  • Experience with ERP and warehouse management systems;
  • Proficient in Dutch & English both oral and written;
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a highly regulated environment such as pharmaceutical food or chemical industry;
  • Knowledge of GMP and compliance-related warehouse processes;
  • Experience working with external warehouses and logistics service providers;
  • Continuous improvement mindset with experience driving operational enhancements.
