Sensing & Calibration Specialist
Eindhoven - Netherlands
Job Summary
About Invisix
Invisix Measuring Systems is a fast-growing scale-up in the high-tech industry developing next-generation metrology solutions for the semiconductor sector. We work at the intersection of optics physics and code.
Semiconductor manufacturers cant build what they cant measure. At Invisix were solving one of the most technically demanding problems in chip manufacturing: reconstructing the detailed 3D geometry of the most advanced next-generation devices.
Founded by two ASML veterans with deep roots in short wavelength metrology weve spent years de-risking this technology. Now were building the team to bring it to market. If you love to take ownership collaborate closely with innovators who care deeply about their contributions and want your work to matter at the frontier of whats physically possible this is the place to be.
Were a small team but the depth of knowledge inside Invisix is anything but small. Our culture is professional and fast-paced with short communication lines and a strong sense of shared purpose. Everyone here is committed and everyone knows their work directly contributes to something bigger.
If you want to be part of shaping an industry rather than just working in it this is the place.
The role
Were strengthening the team that designs the sensing calibration and optics core of our semiconductor metrology tool. This is the part that determines how well the tool sees and measures. Its a complex optical system embedded deep in the tools hardware governed as much by physics as by code.
This is not a software role wrapped around someone elses physics. Its the physics and the math themselves plus the software needed to bring them to life.
Because this spectrum of expertise is wide we have several positions open to cover it rather than one fixed profile. If you have specialist knowledge in one of the areas below thats reason enough to reach out. You dont need to cover all of them.
Where your expertise could fit
Optical system design: illumination lenses and sensors closest to the physics of the measurement
Calibration algorithms: the mathematical models and routines that keep the equipment accurate over time
Physics & measurement modeling: the optical thermal and mechanical effects that influence accuracy
Wafer alignment & coordinate transformations: specifying the alignment function and the transformations that map sensor and mark detections onto wafer stage and tool reference frames
Image processing & sensor data pipelines: turning raw sensor data into calibrated images with low latency and high throughput
Whichever of these is your specialty most of the roles were filling also ask for some ability to turn that expertise into working software translating a model or algorithm into a tested reusable implementation.
Is this you
Specialist in-depth knowledge in one (or more) of the areas above. Depth in a single field matters more to us than broad but shallow coverage of all of them
You enjoy work that sits close to the physics and mathematics of the tool not just the software layer wrapped around it
You like working in a small close-knit team helping set technical direction while staying hands-on yourself
Youre comfortable in a growing startup environment where roles take shape around the people who join not the other way around
What we offer
A role at the heart of Invisixs technology directly shaping the core of the tool
A close-knit highly skilled team with deep expertise in optics physics and metrology
Real autonomy: we dont track working hours and offer unlimited vacation days. That freedom is earned by the ownership you take not given for free
Plenty of room to define the role yourself. This one posting covers several positions and where you land depends on where your expertise turns out to be strongest
Interested
If any part of this spectrum speaks to you wed like to hear from you even if you only recognize yourself in one of the areas above. Submit your resume and lets find out together if theres a match.
