What youll be doing

Translate product/architecture requirements into clear technical specs and implementation plans

Design and implement provider-agnostic JVM libraries (Scala) for uploads & URL generation

Migrate services onto the new abstraction layer with backward compatibility and zero user impact

Ship robust well-tested code that follows industry best practices and existing architecture patterns

Contribute to architecture reviews code reviews and long-term media platform decisions

This is you

6 years building and operating large-scale distributed systems

Strong JVM background Scala highly preferred

Solid grasp of microservices & event-driven design and inter-service communication

Comfortable running services in AWS or GCP with production SLAs

DevOps mindset: CI/CD deployment automation IaC familiarity
