We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Basis Consultant to manage and monitor a complex SAP landscape. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability performance and availability of SAP environments while handling incidents changes integrations and technical coordination.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong SAP Basis expertise analytical skills and the ability to work closely with customers internal stakeholders and infrastructure teams.

• Manage and monitor the complete SAP landscape.
• Perform daily system checks performance checks and benchmarks.
• Define and monitor important performance indicators and trends.
• Manage testing and connectivity/integration activities.
• Ensure optimal execution and processing of jobs and batch processes.
• Analyse troubleshoot and resolve SAP incidents.
• Perform risk and impact analyses for planned changes.
• Implement changes and validate the results through appropriate testing.
• Register and manage incidents and changes in Topdesk.
• Continuously monitor incoming notifications and incidents.
• Communicate with customers regarding the status of incidents and changes.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders throughout incident and change processes.
• Engage infrastructure teams when additional technical support is required.
• Coordinate and oversee larger changes across the SAP environment.
• Analyse complex customer issues across the SAP product and underlying technical layers.

• Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience as a Senior SAP Basis Consultant.
• SAP Certified Technology certification.
• Strong experience with SAP landscape administration monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Experience with incident and change management.
• Ability to analyse complex technical issues and understand dependencies across different technical layers.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with infrastructure and internal teams.

Experience or knowledge of:

• Cloud and automation
• DevOps / Agile / Scrum
• SAP HANA databases
• Topdesk or comparable IT service management tools
• Windows and/or Linux
• Working within the Dutch public sector / government environment
