CLEVERFRANKE is an enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team of 40 people with 15 different nationalities from across the world and we use English as a primary language to communicate and collaborate. As a senior Full Stack Developer you will work on cutting-edge projects that make a real difference. Your role will span the entire development spectrum. You will be one of our go-to team members for defining back-end solutions CI/CD pipelines and hosting while also bringing experience in crafting intuitive front-end interfaces. As a technologist you will take a leading role in projects and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to produce high-quality digital products. You take ownership of technical solutions from concept to delivery.

We are looking for someone who is curious embraces emerging technologies and enjoys exploring modern development practices including AI-assisted and agentic engineering workflows that enhance the way we design build and maintain software. You thrive in fast-paced environments possess a keen analytical eye adopt a pragmatic yet flexible approach and mentor fellow developers on projects.

Our tech stack is ever evolving. We are not married to any specific technology and are pragmatic: we choose the stack that fits the job best. We are always open to fresh perspectives on building scaling and maintaining software projects. Were continuously exploring and innovating and like to work with emerging technologies like AI AR/VR and physical interfaces.

Though we always adapt our approach to the requirements of a specific project the development workflow of a typical CF project will generally include submitting pull requests that trigger CI/CD pipelines with various code-quality checks and automated deployment to a serverless platform like Vercel or Netlify. Team members will perform code reviews to safeguard code-quality as well as QA reviews to make sure all work we do meets the high quality standard that we set for ourselves.

What you bring

As a senior Full Stack Developer you will bring at least 7 years of experience in full-stack development with a proven track record in backend development. You have an innovative mindset and eagerness to explore new technologies. Next to that you will bring:

• Expertise in API-design and databases (e.g. Python OpenAPI Swagger GraphQL PostgreSQL)

• Experience with Typescript

• Solid front-end skills: experience with reactive frameworks like React and styling solutions like CSS-in-JS Tailwind etc

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud deployment platforms (AWS Azure Vercel Coolify)

• Proficiency in Git code-reviews and CI/CD workflows (e.g. GitHub Actions Gitlab CI)

• Excellent communication skills in English

Wed be especially excited if you also have experience in:

• Experience with leading tech teams

• Experience with search engine technology like ElasticSearch

• Experience with agentic engineering workflows (e.g. Claude Code)

• Different CMS (both headless and traditional)

• Experience developing back-end solutions for AI-driven products including integration with LLMs through APIs (e.g. OpenAI Anthropic) or self-hosted models

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling (e.g. Terraform)
