Senior Firmware Development Engineer

We are hiringaSeniorFirmwareEngineerwith expertise in cryptography security embedded systemsLinux RTOS and device drivers to join ourSilicon IPDevelopment teamlocated in The Netherland.Applicants must be familiar with embedded software development processes methodologies and tools and mustpossessstrong coding skills and individual technical accomplishments.This position involves work on a wide range of projects related to all areas of embedded system development including on-chip firmware development driver development application development and development ofhardware abstraction modelinginternal software tools used for testing and verification of hardware and software.

• Specify develop deploy benchmark and maintainembeddedsecurity software

• Performhands on development and be responsible for timely documentation and reviews

• Analyze and refactor existing software whenever necessary to enhance its reliability performance supportability and operability

• Coordinate testing packaging deployment and delivery of software and production data in a secure environment

• Collaborate with other engineers on code reviews internal infrastructure and adhere to software development methodologies

• Collaboratewith cross functional teams to define product architecture and solutions

• 5 - 8yearsof relevant professional engineering experience

• BS/MS in computer science computer engineering software engineering or related degree preferred.

• Experience and high degree of competency in all of the following areas:

• Cobject-oriented design concepts including core libraries design patterns encapsulation polymorphism inheritance

• Experience with machine code/assembly code implementation and debug

• Hardware abstraction/ hardware modeling

• Experience with an agile software development lifecycle including design development testing and support

• Linux

• Cryptographyand securityknowledge

• Experience with multi-threaded high-volume real-timetransaction processing

• Nice to have:

• Nice to have experience in hardware modeling with SystemC/TLM 2.0

• Linux device driver development

• Linux host application development
