About the Job

• As Road Director Benelux you will be responsible for defining and executing the Road Freight strategy across the Benelux;
• This is a unique opportunity to rebuild and reshape the entire Road organization in the Benelux from the ground up giving you the chance to make a lasting impact on the future of our business;
• You take ownership of the Road business performance including budget management P&L responsibility and achieving ambitious growth targets;
• You translate the global and regional Road strategy into local initiatives projects and business plans that strengthen our market position and operational performance;
• You foster strong relationships with customers carriers suppliers and other key stakeholders to drive innovation and business development;
• You provide strategic direction on commercial and operational matters while ensuring compliance with company standards policies and industry regulations;
• You oversee the Road pricing and tender strategy ensuring sustainable growth healthy margins and successful execution throughout the organization;
• You act as an ambassador for Hellmann Worldwide Logistics by representing the Road product at customer meetings industry events and conferences across the Benelux.

About You

• You have extensive experience within Road Freight Forwarding and Transport Logistics in a senior leadership role;
• You have a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record of growing and developing logistics businesses;
• You are energized by transformation and have experience building restructuring or scaling organizations;
• You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality and know how to turn vision into execution;
• You are an inspiring people leader who enjoys coaching teams and developing future talent;
• You possess strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills and are able to build long-term partnerships;
• You are entrepreneurial ambitious and comfortable taking ownership of complex business challenges
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
