Job Summary

As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will:

Define and implement comprehensive test strategies to ensure maximum test coverage across applications.
Perform end-to-end functional regression system integration and data migration testing.
Test web mobile and REST API applications using tools such as Postman.
Create execute and manage test cases using Azure DevOps or similar test management tools.
Validate data using SQL (preferably Microsoft SQL Server).
Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Contribute to test automation initiatives using Python-based frameworks such as Robot Framework or PyTest.
Identify track and report software defects while ensuring timely resolution.
Work closely with developers business analysts and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

What You Bring to the Table:

8 years of overall experience in Software Quality Assurance.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working in Scrum/Agile environments.
Bachelors degree or higher in an IT-related discipline.
Strong experience in manual and automation testing.
Hands-on expertise with SQL (preferably MS SQL Server).
Experience using Azure DevOps for test management.
Proficiency in REST API testing using Postman.
Experience with Python-based automation frameworks (Robot Framework or PyTest).
Knowledge of system integration testing and data migration testing.
Experience in banking payments or credit card domains is preferred.
ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification is an added advantage.
Experience with Temenos Transact Core Banking System is desirable.

You should possess the ability to:

Design effective test strategies and ensure complete test coverage.
Execute manual and automated testing across multiple platforms.
Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
Perform database validation using SQL queries.
Test APIs web applications and mobile applications efficiently.
Coordinate UAT activities with business stakeholders.
Identify defects perform root cause analysis and recommend quality improvements.
Work effectively within Agile/Scrum teams while managing multiple testing activities.
Adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities.
Communicate technical findings clearly with cross-functional teams.
