Python Django Developer

We are seeking aPython Django Developerto maintain and improve our online portal for theDC Spine product. This portal enablesinstant high-performance and private connectivity between nearly 100 datacenters and growing. Customers can log in and manage everything throughself-service empowering them to tailor their connectivity needs independently. 

This is agrowth rolethat offers the opportunity to work alongsidevery experienced engineersand potentially specialize in abroad range of functions including backend automation infrastructure and cloud technologies. You will be part of a team ofinfrastructure builderswho design build and maintainvital infrastructureusingstate-of-the-art technology. Collaboration is withproduct management and technical network specialiststo refine the user experience and streamline processes. 

The environment has workloads deployed inKubernetes ensuring scalability resilience and efficiency. 
 

Key Responsibilities 

• Maintain and enhance theDjango-based online portalfor DC Spine ensuring high availability performance and an intuitive user experience. 

• Develop and optimizefrontend componentswith a focus on responsiveness accessibility and modern UI/UX standards. 

• Collaborate withproduct management and technical network specialiststo gather requirements implement and improve features. 

• Contribute tobackend automation and infrastructure improvements including scripting API development and integration with third-party services. 

• Work within aDockerized and Kubernetes-based environment ensuring consistency across development testing and production. 

• Participate inCI/CD pipelinemaintenance and optimization including testing deployment and monitoring. 

• Document code processes and configurations to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications :

Required Skills and Experience 

• 2 years of experiencein Python and Django development with a focus onfrontend development(HTML CSS JavaScript and modern frameworks like React or ). 
• Proficiency inDjango including templating ORM and RESTful API development. 
• Familiarity withDockerand containerized environments. 
• Experience withCI/CD pipelines(e.g. GitLab CI GitHub Actions Jenkins). 
• Strongproblem-solving skillsand the ability to debug and optimize code. 
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills. 
• Interest inbackend automation and infrastructure with a willingness to learn and grow in these areas. 

Nice-to-Have 

• Experience withKubernetes. 
• Knowledge ofAzureandAzure Monitor. 
• Experience withbackend automation tools(e.g. Ansible Terraform). 
• Familiarity withmonitoring and logging tools(e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack). 
• Understanding ofsecurity best practicesfor web applications. 
• Knowledge of python for data pipelines and enrichment.
