Python Developer

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join the BB8 team within the Development Tooling department. You will design and build a new Python-based front-end solution for the SaaS platform enabling internal users to manage content more securely intuitively and efficiently.

This role sits within a DevOps environment that manages key collaboration and portfolio management tools such as Confluence Jira Align and AURA. You will help transform complex backend capabilities into user-friendly interfaces and contribute to continuous improvement across multiple enterprise platforms.

• Design and develop a Python-based front-end for integrations.
• Improve usability accessibility and user experience across internal tooling.
• Ensure all solutions meet security compliance and governance standards.
• Support users troubleshoot issues and drive continuous platform improvements.
• Collaborate within a DevOps team managing Confluence Jira Align AURA and .
• Contribute to additional applications managed by the BB8 team once the front-end is delivered.

The BB8 team is part of the Development Tooling department responsible for delivering a modern secure and scalable collaboration environment for engineers across the organisation. BB8 focuses on:

The team operates with end-to-end DevOps ownership emphasising collaboration automation and continuous improvement.

• Strong experience as a Python Developer.
• Experience or interest in frontend development using Python frameworks (pre).
• Experience with APIs and SaaS integrations.
• Affinity with developer tooling or enterprise platforms.
• Understanding of security and compliance requirements.
• Proactive collaborative and user-focused mindset.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a DevOps environment.
• English proficiency (no Dutch required).
