These ambitions are reflected in the TU/e Institutional Plan Project Manager Implementation Institutional Plan you will be part of General Affairs within the Strategy will report functionally to the Strategic Domain Lead Strategy and work closely with the Strategic Domain Leads the Senior Change Communication Strategist project managers and stakeholders across the university.

About the role

As Project Manager Implementation Institutional Plan you will coordinate the implementation of the TU/e Institutional Plan 2026-2030. You will oversee the university-wide implementation program align with key stakeholders on progress resources planning and governance and ensure coherence across strategic addition you will lead one or more implementation projects that are critical to the successful execution of the Institutional Plan including the potential redesign of the universitys organizational structure and faculty organization.

What you will do

  • Coordinate the overall implementation program and one or more strategic implementation projects in line with theobjectivesof the Institutional Plan.
  • Translate approved project assignments into integrated project plans including scope timelines milestones governance arrangements and budgets.
  • Support the development of project assignments mandates and budgets for strategic subprojects while ensuring alignment across the overall program.
  • Coordinate the execution monitoring and reporting of program and project activities including progress risks dependencies and deliverables.
  • Organize andfacilitatesteering committees working groups program meetings and other governance and coordination forums.
  • Prepare progress reports and decision-making documents for the Executive Board and contribute to program communications in close collaboration with the Senior Change Communication Strategist.
  • Facilitate collaboration across faculties university services and project teams to ensure the integrated implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Identifyand manage interdependencies between projects and organizational units escalate bottlenecks where needed and propose practical solutions to support implementation.
  • Build andmaintaineffective working relationships with the Executive Board Strategic Domain Leads Deans Directors project managers and other stakeholders ensuring alignment and engagement throughout the implementation process.
  • Provide reliable management information prepare program documentation and governance materials and incorporate lessons learned into future implementation activities.

Job Requirements

What you bring

  • Bachelors or masters level working and thinking ability.
  • Affinity with the core activities of a university: education research knowledgevalorization and operations.
  • Experience with project management in nonprofit and/or public or semi-public organizations preferably supported by certification in multiple project management methodologies.
  • A structured proactive and solution-oriented approach with the ability to manage planning and progress effectively.
  • The ability to work independently under the direction of the Strategic Domain Lead Strategy while contributing as a collaborative team member.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively with senior leaders Deans Directors professional services and colleagues across the university.
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English written and spoken.
  • Availability to work on campus at least3days per week.
