Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Project & Acquisition Managerto join the team in Delft.
As aProject & Acquisition Manager you will work in a department that specializesin understanding and extending the lifetime of critical components used in chipproduction such as optics and materials. Real-world challenges for globalindustry leaders are solved by combining deep expertise in contamination controlsurface analysis and vacuum technology. The team operates state-of-the-artexperimental facilities including a unique setup for Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV)lithography research the EBL2. There is a close collaboration with bothindustry and academic this role you will contribute to projectsthat directly shape the future of semiconductor technology making manufacturingmore efficient sustainable and innovative.
- You willtake ownership of complex experimental research projects that are at the heartof semiconductor manufacturing innovation.
- From the earliest stages defining proposals and shapingproject goals through to hands-on execution and final delivery you willensure that each project meets the highest standards of quality and impact.
- Youll lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams ofscientists engineers and experimentalists fostering close collaboration anda shared commitment to excellence.
- As the primary point of contact for our customers youllbuild strong relationships and maintain clear communication ensuring thattheir needs are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Managing several projects in parallel youll balanceresources and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic fast-pacedenvironment.
- Your work will also involve close cooperation with businessdevelopment and scientific leads helping to secure new projects and expand ourinfluence within the semiconductor sector.
- Beyond project delivery youll engage with a wide range ofstakeholders including industry partners suppliers and internal leadershipto drive project success.
- Youll also play an active role in the ongoing developmentof our team and organization sharing your knowledge mentoring colleagues andparticipating in professional growth opportunities.
- In short youll be a driving force behind both our projectsand our people helping to shape the future of semiconductor technology.
- A Masters or PhD in physics chemistry material scienceelectrical or mechanical engineering or a closely related technical field.
- At least 810 years of experience in a high-tech systemsenvironment with significant exposure to the semiconductor industry.
- Proven track record as a project manager including managingcomplex multidisciplinary and experimental research projects.
- Experience with program management project development andideally formal project management training or certifications.
- Strong people management and stakeholder engagement skillswith the ability to communicate effectively at all levelsfrom technical teamsto executive stakeholders.
- Structured yet pragmatic approach to work with a proactivecustomer- and results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written); Dutch is a plus.
- Commercial insight strategic thinking and a willingness tosupport colleague project leaders.
