As a Programma Financial Controller you are a member of the Finance team based in Papendrecht where youll dive into the heart of our financial operations and ensuring their financial health. You will support the (monthly) reporting activities for consolidation and you will contribute to the planning cycle (forecast budget strategic plan). Youll play a key role in enhancing business processes and advancing the standards of our finance operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Hold responsibility for the accounting of the programs including analysis and balance sheets
- Prepare budget forecast and strategic plan for the programs
- Assist in achieving programs financial goals by providing analyses and recommendations
- Contribute to annual planning processes by providing insight into sales profit and cash flow forecasts
- Analyze actuals compared to budget forecast and previous years figures acting as a point of contact for Central Finance
- Prepare various reports to present the analysis of financial results to stakeholders
- Provide ad hoc reports incl. margin analysis monthly closure activities
- Support program management in preparing and updating business cases and challenge the business with financial insights.
Job Qualifications
- A completed HBO/University degree in Finance or similar
- 5 years of similar experience as Business or Program Controller ideally gained in the manufacturing sector
- Ability to easily collaborate with other functions within the programs for gathering challenging and summarizing key drivers of results and cash flow
- Strong analytical and financial skills especially in management reporting
- Proactive ability to work independently eager to learn
- Structured able to plan own work & set priorities
