Scope of Role

As a production technician based at our Ede site you will be responsible for the diagnosis and repair of EV batteries ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard first time. Following the Health and safety and manufacturer guidelines you will open review diagnose repair test and close EV battery packs as well as reporting all findings and activities.

Key activities include:

• Use of required techniques tools & materials required to repair EV batteries in line with manufacturer standards
• Perform diagnostic tests to quickly diagnose problems and identify appropriate repair actions
• Work with engineering to find solutions through root cause analysis
• Work with the engineering teams with R&D activities across multiple customers
• Operate and maintain a wide variety of tooling and electrical test equipment
• Maintain accurate records of work performed including time and materials throughout using EVBSs proprietary software
• Perform other repair activities as required
• Ensure that the production floor is a safe work environment and that health & safety rules are followed at all times
• Ensure that stock levels are accurate at all times to enable timely ordering of parts and equipment

Skills knowledge and experience

• An understanding of production procedures including health and safety
• Experience working in high voltage environments is advantageous but not essential
• Attention to detail
• Able to use your initiative
