The ICT department has initiated a transition towards an Agile way of working as part of the transition towards an improved ICT Target Operating Model (TOM) the Vanderlande ICT Core department is the backbone of our ICT Department providing infrastructure workplace and low-code platform products to our internal organization. ICT Core contributes to high value for our business and delivering cutting-edge products.


About the Role

As Product Owner Networking you are responsible for the strategy roadmap and prioritization of Vanderlandes enterprise networking capabilities. You work closely with network engineers architects security specialists vendors and business stakeholders to ensure a secure reliable scalable and future-ready network infrastructure.

You drive value delivery through Agile ways of working and act as the primary point of contact for networking-related initiatives improvements and investments.

What will be your responsibilities

  • Own and manage the Networking product backlog and roadmap.

  • Define priorities in collaboration with stakeholders architects and engineering teams.

  • Translate business and operational requirements into clear user stories and backlog items.

  • Balance technical debt operational excellence security requirements and innovation initiatives.

  • Lead networking-related projects and platform improvements.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress risks and dependencies.

  • Collaborate with suppliers and technology partners.

  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture cybersecurity and cloud strategies.

  • Drive continuous improvement of networking services and processes.

What do we ask from you (Knowledge & Experience)

  • Experience as a Product Owner Service Owner Technical Lead or similar role.

  • Good understanding of enterprise networking technologies such as:

    • LAN/WAN

    • Wi-Fi

    • Datacenter Networking

    • SD-WAN

    • Cloud Networking (Azure/AWS)

    • Network Security concepts

  • Experience working in Agile environments.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and make data-driven decisions.
