Job Summary

As an Oracle Database Administrator you will:
  • Manage and support Oracle database environments across large-scale systems
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to planning timelines and deliverables
  • Perform database development updates and optimization activities
  • Handle database upgrades and migrations to higher versions
  • Execute database refresh activities and schema migrations between environments
  • Follow ITIL processes to create review and approve changes
  • Provide support for releases and production changes including weekend deployments when required
  • Act as a liaison between project stakeholders and technical teams
  • Ensure smooth operation of database systems through monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Work collaboratively within a team to deliver high-quality database services
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 68 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration
  • Strong experience working with Oracle versions 12c and above
  • Hands-on experience with backup and recovery using RMAN and Data Pump
  • Experience with database migration cloning and patch management
  • Strong knowledge of Data Guard and RAC environments
  • Experience in managing large and virtual database environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders
You Should Possess the Ability to:
  • Manage complex database environments independently
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance and system issues
  • Translate business requirements into technical database solutions
  • Work within structured ITIL processes and project frameworks
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
