Meetings and Events Operations Manager – The Hoxton, Amsterdam

What youll do 

• Prepare manage & lead day and evening events ensuring guests have an enjoyable and care-free event with us. 

• Working closely together with the Sales team to deliver excellent execution of the events sold by them to constantly drive returning guests. Youre the critical link between Sales and each successful event. 

• Whether its setting up the space for a day meeting or an evening event think tables chairs lighting the lot  youre the one who makes sure every detail is right.  

• Think outside the box when it comes to improving the department how we use the space how we run events what we could be doing better. Were always open to new ideas and yours are part of what makes us better.  

• From a quick setup and ad-hoc requests to handling invoices and gathering guest feedback  youre the constant factor that makes every internal and external customer feel looked after start to finish.  

• Manage a lean team creating an environment where people feel genuinely valued and where theres real space for them to grow and develop. 

• Roll-up your sleeves: small events are ran by yourself. Some last-minute change requests No worries - youll handle it.  

• Coordinate stock and expenses and manage relationships with our events suppliers and contractors keeping things running smoothly and cost-effectively.  

• Take overall responsibility for the health safety and security of anyone using the space guests team and yourself. That means their wellbeing and their property.  

• Champion a pro-active approach in every event delivering a polished professional and energetic experience. 

• No events happening Youll initiate to support Lottis restaurant ensuring our total F&B operations run smoothly. At The Hoxton were in it together.
