Job Summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well qualified part- time (0.6FTE) Maths teacher to cover a period of maternity leave from November 2026 to March 2027.
Senior School Leidschenveen (SSL) is a vibrant high-performing international school. You must already be living in the Netherlands with a right to work or be in possession of a suitable visa.
The ideal candidate will have strong National Curriculum knowledge and a successful track record in teaching maths through to post-16 level. Experience of the IBDP framework is desirable. A willingness to fully subscribe to our school mission Academic Excellence Breadth of Experience and Character & Community (ABC) is fundamental to our appointment to this post.
Maths is taught in mixed ability groups in Years 7 and in set ability groups from Years 8 to 11. At GCSE students follow Pearson Maths syllabus. Both Maths A&A and A&I are available options in the IBDP. The department is well resourced and is made up of a dedicated team of 6 full and part time teachers. Results in mathematics are excellent throughout the school.
The salary range for this position is 451615 - 614586 gross EUR monthly (full-time) depending on experience. All figures shown are including the 9% holiday allowance.
