Job Description
As a Service & Commissioning Engineer you are responsible for independently carrying out commissioning service and maintenance activities on electrical installations on board vessels. You work on various systems such as battery systems hybrid installations and propulsion systems. You troubleshoot issues test installations and ensure systems perform optimally anywhere in the world.

Your responsibilities as Service & Commissioning Engineer

  • Independently perform commissioning activities on new installations;
  • Carry out service and maintenance on existing installations;
  • Diagnose and resolve faults in sensors cabling and control cabinets;
  • Test installations and systems for proper functionality;
  • Analyze root causes of failures and implement technical improvements;
  • Prepare service reports after completed work;
  • Travel internationally to support clients on-site.


Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Completed college degree in Electrical Installations or equivalent;
  • Several years of experience in a similar role within the maritime sector;
  • Basic knowledge of automation and high-voltage systems;
  • Knowledge of standards safety regulations and quality requirements;
  • Good command of the English language;
  • Independent proactive and problem-solving mindset;
  • Willingness to travel internationally and flexibility in working hours;
  • Drivers license B is required.
