Maje Sales Assistant Utrecht

Maje is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our retail team in Utrecht this role you will be the face of our brand delivering exceptional service while driving sales and creating memorable shopping experiences for our customers. As a Sales Assistant you will support the store team in maintaining a welcoming environment while showcasing our latest fashion collections.

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers understanding their needs and offering personalized product recommendations
• Process sales transactions accurately using our POS system and handle cash and card payments with precision
• Maintain product knowledge and stay informed about current collections promotions and brand values to effectively communicate with customers
• Support visual merchandising efforts by organizing displays restocking inventory and ensuring the store maintains an attractive and organized appearance
• Assist in inventory management tasks including receiving stock labeling and conducting regular stock counts
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and support colleagues during peak shopping periods
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
• Maintain compliance with store policies health and safety standards and company procedures
• Contribute to a positive team environment through supportive communication and willingness to assist with various store operations

Qualifications :

• Proven customer service experience in a retail or hospitality environment
• Demonstrated sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions and inventory management
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and peak shopping periods
• Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are preferred
• Familiarity with fashion retail or luxury brand environments is a plus
• Knowledge of visual merchandising principles is desirable
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
• Professional appearance and commitment to representing the Maje brand
• Dutch mandatory
