Maje Sales Assistant Rotterdam

Maje is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our retail team in Rotterdam this role you will be the face of our brand delivering exceptional service to our customers while driving sales and maintaining a welcoming store environment. As a Sales Assistant you will play a key role in creating memorable shopping experiences and contributing to the success of our store.

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly understanding their needs and offering personalized product recommendations
• Achieve individual and team sales targets through effective selling techniques and product knowledge
• Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system and handle cash and card payments responsibly
• Maintain store appearance and organization by restocking merchandise arranging displays and ensuring the sales floor is clean and inviting
• Develop and demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge about our fashion collections to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions
• Support inventory management activities including receiving stock conducting counts and reporting discrepancies
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support store operations
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve concerns professionally and empathetically
• Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining professional behavior and appearance standards

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Strong time management and organizational abilities
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Cash handling experience and accuracy with financial transactions
• Passion for fashion and familiarity with current trends (preferred)
• Multilingual capabilities particularly Dutch and English (preferred)
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required by store operations
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
• Reliable punctual and professional work ethic
• Speaking dutch is mendatory
