Job Summary

As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of the automated High Bay warehouse within our Distribution Centre. You will work closely with the Technical Department other departments within the DC and colleagues from other JYSK Distribution Centres.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the construction implementation management and maintenance of the automated High Bay system;
  • Ensuring the continuity and availability of automation installations;
  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance;
  • Troubleshooting malfunctions and structural automation issues;
  • Identifying and implementing improvements and cost optimization opportunities;
  • Contributing ideas and implementing new solutions to optimize processes;
  • Carrying out ad hoc tasks when required.

In addition you will always work in accordance with applicable Health & Safety and fire safety procedures and actively contribute to a safe working environment.


Qualifications :

As a Maintenance Technician you are motivated to continue learning and growing with our organization. With your technical knowledge and hands-on approach you actively contribute to improvement and operational continuity.

Furthermore we are looking for someone with:

  • A technical education or relevant work experience in automation electrical engineering mechatronics or a related field;
  • Experience with or a strong interest in automated warehouse systems (preferably High Bay systems);
  • Knowledge of maintenance processes (preventive and corrective);
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • An eye for cost control and process optimization;
  • A strong awareness of safety and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE);
  • A proactive independent and flexible work attitude;
  • Strong collaboration skills and team spirit;
  • Willingness to travel locally and participate in meetings when required;
  • No fear of heights;
  • The ability to act in accordance with the JYSK Values and always lead by example.
