Swisslog is expanding its maintenance team at our customers new automated warehouse in Barendrecht. We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated this position you will work 40 hours in extended (mainly) 2-shifts. You will work in a team with 6 colleagues the operating hours are between 6am - 11pm 5 days per week including weekends on rotation.
Please note: This is a permanent position starting with a 12-month contract.
- Performing electro-mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance on automated material handling systems including Autostore and conveyors in line with Swisslog quality standards.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electronic faults escalating to remote specialists when needed.
- Ensure safe efficient operations by following planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules.
- Act as the on-site representative of Swisslog building and maintaining strong customer relationships with Albert Heijn.
- Technical education in mechanical / electrical maintenance or mechatronics
- Customer and service oriented mindset and strong communication skills
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance methods and schedules
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook etc.)
- Experience working on automated equipment such as conveyors and robots is an advantage but not strictly required
- Reside within less than 1 hour driving distance from Barendrecht
- Hold a valid driving license
- Comfortable communicating in English (main team language); knowledge of Dutch is a strong plus.
