Key Responsibilities

As Lead Financial Controller you are accountable for the integrity accuracy and timeliness of group financial consolidation and reporting across APM Terminals global organisation. You combine deep technical accounting expertise with strong people leadership and a continuous improvement mindset.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading developing and inspiring an international consolidation and financial controlling team

  • Owning and continuously improving the group consolidation and financial close processes

  • Ensuring accurate accounting and reporting under IFRS and APMM GAAP including complex areas such as foreign exchange leases provisions impairments and business combinations

  • Acting as the primary liaison for external auditors managing audit planning execution and remediation

  • Identifying assessing and mitigating financial reporting risks while strengthening internal controls across entities

  • Sponsoring and driving finance improvement and transformation initiatives at group level

  • Providing clear decisionuseful financial insights to senior finance and business stakeholders

  • Driving consistent reporting standards governance and best practices across the organisation

  • Operating confidently in complex deadlinedriven reporting environments with high expectations on quality and accuracy

  • Proven ability to operate under tight deadlines in complex consolidation and reporting environments

  • Clear confident communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively
