Job Summary
Avantor is seeking a Production Support Laboratory Technician to support pharmaceutical production operations within a GMP-regulated environment in Nijmegen. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining cleanroom standards preparing disinfectants and cleaning solutions supporting GMP compounding activities and providing operational support across departments.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with laboratory pharmaceutical life sciences or GMP experience who enjoy working in a highly regulated environment and contributing to the manufacture of products that improve human health.
- Perform routine cleanroom cleaning and disinfection activities in line with GMP requirements.
- Prepare and dispense cleaning and disinfection solutions for controlled production and laboratory areas.
- Provide hands-on support for GMP compounding and manufacturing activities.
- Complete documentation accurately and in compliance with GMP standards.
- Ensure materials equipment and workspaces are maintained according to quality and safety procedures.
- Support laboratory and production teams with day-to-day operational activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Report deviations observations and potential improvements in a timely manner.
- Follow all health safety quality and environmental procedures.
Essential
- Secondary education qualification including Mathematics English and Science.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Good organizational and planning skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- Degree or education in Biology Chemistry Life Sciences Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field.
- Previous experience in a laboratory pharmaceutical biotechnology GMP cleanroom or production environment.
- Experience with cleaning disinfection compounding or laboratory support activities.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
