You will have the opportunity to drive Philips effort in decarbonization as well as providing our employees with actionable insights on how to reduce their footprint.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee andmaintainall Climate Action-owned dashboards includingtheBusinessTravel Logistic Freight Lease Cars and Climate Maturity dashboards ensuring data accuracy consistency andtimelyupdates.
  • Implement methodological improvements to enhance data quality reporting accuracyand alignment with key external standards such as the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across functions (e.g. Procurement Logistics and Finance) to collect relevant datavalidateinsights and refine dashboard functionalities.
  • Develop automation strategies to streamline data management processes and enhance visualization techniques for improved decision-making.
  • Support the integration of internal climate action initiatives into dashboards ensuring alignment with Philips carbon reduction strategies and sustainability goals.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of dashboard performance andidentifyareas for improvement proposing innovative solutions to enhance usability and impact.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal users to ensure they can effectivelyleveragedashboard insights for strategic planning and operational improvements.

Youre the right fit if:

  • Degree ina relevant fieldsuch as Data Science Business Analytics Sustainability Environmental Science Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in managing large datasets and extracting actionable insights.
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel (Power Query Pivot Tables) and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BIQlik or similar).
  • Passion for sustainability and climate action with a solid understanding of carbon accounting principles and reporting frameworks.
  • Ability to translate complex data sets into clear meaningful dashboards and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach toidentifyingprocess improvements and driving alignment across teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and present insights effectively.
  • Strong project managementcapabilitiesensuringmultiple tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.

We offer you:
A non-stop growth opportunity within a global multinational addition we also want to renumerate you well for the opportunity. This includes:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between 500 - 700 gross depending on your education level and if you need to relocate to The Netherlands. Part-time internships receive the allowance pro-rata.
  • Housing compensation. Should you need to relocate to near our office well offer you a monthly allowance of 300-net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam 255- net for all other Philips locations. To be eligible well just ask for the rental contract from your landlord and your usual home-work travel distance needs to be more than 50 km or 1.5 hours of travel time (for a one way trip).
  • Travel compensation if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. 192-netas a monthly allowance.
  • Paid holidays per internship term.
